I've been to a few other tea stores in Pasadena but for the best Thai Tea, I will always recommend Tea Spots.
Of course, they serve a lot of other things but I'm a Thai Iced Tea fanatic and that's my go to. So anytime I find a great Thai Tea, I shout that from the rooftops!
It's a cozy spot. Booths and tables. You can usually catch a mix of students and tea aficionados hanging out.
I went around 10 and it was still pretty busy but not too long of a wait. Good customer service but the 5 stars is 100% for the Thai Iced Tea.
Decent parking area, shared lot for the plaza. All in all, I will definitely be returning if I'm in the area! -

I do not recommend. I was delighted to find a 4-star place that sold shaved snow (they call it ice here), but this place did not deliver!
I ordered the milk snow with condensed milk, strawberries, and rainbow mochi. The top of the snow that was drenched in condensed milk was fine. Tasted like regular snow. The bottom, however, was very chewy/gummy. If you've ever had Turkish ice cream (made with mastic gum which gives it the chewy/sticky texture), then you know what I'm talking about. Snow should not by any means taste like that. It should be creamy and it should melt in your mouth. This was a most unpleasant experience in snow.
Even after the terrible snow, I still wanted to give this place another shot and ordered a fresh honeydew juice. The juice was straight up sugar! I could actually feel the cavities forming and my teeth rotting with every sip. And this is coming from someone with a major sweet tooth. I'm sorry, but I will not be returning. -

My local go to spots for late night Asian food cravings. Boba milk tea ,slush and smoothie restaurant spot.
Food:
I usually get the chicken skewers but I highly recommend their rice dish plates.
I was super disappointed and I can only blame myself since I have a high standard with ramen I decided to order it tonight. Big disappointment broth was very bland and the pork was not even fired it grilled properly. I seriously could have made a better home made version of ramen with too ramen and added my own toppings hahaha .
Customer service:
It varies on morning lunch or late night but for the most part their friendly .
Conclusion:
Even with my disappointed visit tonight with my ramen I would go still back for the rice dishes and the tasty fired appetizers or late night boba cravings -

I used to come here a lot, back in my college days. One of my friends decided to meet up for dessert and we spent such a great time here. This place is nothing fancy but it's clean and employees are friendly. They have a little bit of everything. The prices are very reasonable and that's why you'll find a lot of students coming here, like I used to, to eat and study at the same time. They have free wifi and electric outlets to charge your computers. It's very convenient. The only issue is the parking lot. It's limited and if you park here you're taking the risk to get your car hit. I know that by experience. Btw, if you checked in Facebook they'll give you a free add-on. Overall great experience and I love my shaved ice!
